DateFyx Guide for 9-11 June 2017

Happy Friday!

We try to reach you every Friday afternoon, when the weekend has just crept up on you and you haven’t had a chance to plan your 'DateFyx'. We bring to you the big events in town, the little-known exciting activities, F&B recommendations, exclusive DateFyx experiences and more. Hope you get to enjoy some of our picks for this weekend...

We noticed that you really liked the idea of a Museum Date Night. Here's another suggestion to keep you inspired the whole week & to add to your conversation starters.

'Life is the Heart of a Rainbow' by renowned artist, Yayoi Kusama, opens tonight at National Gallery Singapore. Ticketed entry at S$15 (Singaporeans/PRs) / S$25 (Non-Singaporeans). Complete the date night itinerary with drinks at one of the rooftop bars with the most amazing view - Smoke & Mirrors or Aura Sky Lounge.  Read our review of Smoke & Mirrors here. The views are one of the best in Singapore. Remember to reserve your table with a view.

Museum hours: Fri-Sat: 10am - 10pm, Sun-Thur: 10am - 7pm.

MID-WEEK DATE NIGHT TIP: Did you know that every third Thursday of the month, Art Science Museum keeps its doors open straight until 10pm with free performances, late exhibition viewings, and special 1-for-1 entry to exhibitions? Happening this coming Thursday, the 15th of June.

We know you are busy and trying hard to keep up with all occasions. Helping with a reminder for Father's Day, coming up on Sunday, the 18th of June. DateFyx has put together EXPERIENCES FOR DADS who treasure shared moments with family, over everything else. Try a ceramics session together or enjoy a day at the sea - the idea is to build great memories along the way!

Introducing our new experience - Private Yoga Session for Couples. This is a perfect opportunity for busy couples to break away from the routine, and set-up this one-time session at your own home, the nearest park, by the pool or even by the beach. S$108 for a 60-minute session at a location of your choice. Do enquire for more details about our instructor and his philosophy.

Also, we were thrilled to be in Straits Times last Sunday in a feature about new online services that offer offline bonding. You can find the feature here

Have a great weekend!
