We are lucky to have so many wonderful gardens and parks right in our backyard for us to explore and the experiences, be it concerts, open-air movies or art in the park, are worth it. For those rainy days, we have some recommendations as well.   

Fireworks at Marina Bay

Sunday, 2nd July and Saturday, the 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th of July.  

Singapore skyline with fireworks… absolutely stunning! This month brings us enough opportunities to enjoy the night sky at its best. Pick a spot that allows a clear shot of the Marina Bay - Helix Bridge, Marina Barrage, Gardens By The Bay (East) are just a few.

LandArts @ Bishan- Ang Mo Kio Park

The Good Old Days - Picnic & Movie

Sat, 1st July, 7:30pm – 11pm (movies & stargazing), Science Center.

This event held at the open field behind Snow City and Kidstop, at Science Centre, also includes a variety of activities and street food, that takes you back to the Good Old Days. Starts at 5pm onwards, with movie screening at 7:30pm.

Film Screening: Hockney (2016)

David Hockney is Britain’s most celebrated living artist pushing the boundaries of art.  Catch a free screening of a film based on his inspiring life and personal archives at the STPI Gallery.  

Picnic & Movie Under the Stars

Sat, 8th July, 7:30pm, Chijmes.

This pet-friendly event will play the movie, Marley & Me, at 7:30pm, after a pet-adoption drive and pet obedience drive in the lawns at Chijmes.

Anime Season – The Tale of the Princess Kaguya
